(MENAFN- Arab News) I fully agree with the Interior Ministry's decision as reported on May 5 'Expatriates with Hezbollah links to be thrown out.'
Expatriates living in Saudi Arabia should respect the laws of the land. If anybody is too enthusiastic about regional politics he should voluntarily leave the Kingdom and get involved in politics in his country of origin or elsewhere. Nobody has the right to disturb the peace of Saudi Arabia.
Those supporting Hezbollah and its likes should leave for countries where they could join the ranks of such organizations. Holding certain political ideals is not wrong but respect for the local culture is very important. The Saudi society is different as compared with many other Muslim societies. The government and people enjoy a strong bond and work closely without any politics. In such a scenario it would be unfair on part of any expatriate to become involved in politics in Saudi Arabia or propagate his views in this country. Yasir Hamid Jeddah
