His Highness the Amir heads to Riyadh for 15th GCC Consultative meeting


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah departed the country on Tuesday accompanied by an official delegation to attend the 15th Consultative meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) leaders to be held in Riyadh.

His Highness the Amir was seen off at Kuwait International Airport by His Highness the Deputy Amir and Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, deputy head of the National Guards Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, top state officials, top ranked army, police and National Guards officials.

His Highness the Amir's delegation to the meeting includes First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah and Minister of Finance and Acting Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Al-Saleh.

The delegation also includes Director of Amir's Office Ahmed Fahad Al-Fahad, head of Amiri Protocol Sheikh Khaled Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary Khalid Suleiman Al-Jarallah, head of Media and Cultural Affairs department at the Amiri Diwan Yousef Hamad Al-Roumi, Undersecretary for Political and Economic Affairs at the Amiri Diwan Sheikh Fawaz Saud Al-Nasser Al-Sabah, senior officials at the Amiri Diwan and Foreign Ministry.
