Pamintuan emerges chion Duma repeats in OFBC April monthly tourney
(MENAFN- Arab News) After a first runner-up finish in the last outing Jun Pamintuan was finally a champion in the men's division during the OFBC Monthly Tournament at Ice Land Bowling Center here.
Joining Pamintuan as the Bowler of the Month for April was Carmen Duma who became champion again after an interval of one month in the ladies division.
Eliminations topnotcher Pamintuan a Class D bowler went all the way to the title in telling fashion. He rolled a two-game series with handicap of 443 in the final to the 390 by eventual first runner-up and Class B bowler Tito Cruz.
Another beginning bowler Regino Mendoza was second runner-up for the second straight month on 360 with Class B Bash Langa 3rd runner-up on 344.
Like Pamintuan Duma had little trouble winning. Buoyed by a rich handicap Duma posted a winning total of 375. Delia Javing who topped the four games eliminations wound up first runner-up from Fatima Jintarat after a tiebreak as both players tied on 314. Vangie Lim rounded out the first four winners on 294.
