(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Ooredoo has announced that its Mobile Money service will give 20 international minutes free with all international transfers to selected African countries until July 25.
The offer, which has been designed to further reward Ooredoo Mobile Money customers, will give users 20 international free minutes when they use the service to send money to Cameroon, Ghana, Uganda, Nigeria and Kenya, according to a statement.
For Hala customers, the 20 international minutes will be credited to their Hala balance instantly after the transaction. Shahry customers will have the credit added to their monthly allowance.
The free international credit is valid for seven days and bonus minutes can be used to make calls anywhere in the world.
Customers can register for Mobile Money with a valid Qatar ID at any Ooredoo shop, by dialling *140# or by downloading the free Ooredoo Money app on their mobile and following the on-screen instructions.
Once registered, customers can send money to 200 countries for collection at any of 347,000 local MoneyGram agents, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Mobile Money is available for use on any model of mobile phone and can be used to top up Hala accounts (with a 10% extra recharge), pay Ooredoo bills, send money locally to another mobile or QNB account, or transfer money overseas.
