Two traditionally strong companies lead the juice category Pasteurizadora Rica SA and Parmalat Dominicana SA both local companies. The first Pasteurizadora Rica held a 52% value share in 2014 and has been operating for 48 years. It is very strong in dairy products and juice. In 2014 the company held 43% of the category’s volume sales and a 50% value share in 100% juice which is the most expensive juice category.
