Specialized training course on ethical hacking concludes at RSS in Jordan

(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A specialized training course entitled "Certified Ethical Hacking" concluded at the Royal Scientific Society (RSS) Tuesday.

The training course, which was held by the National Software Quality Assurance Centre of the RSS, was attended by 18 trainees working in the private and public sector with the aim of gaining valuable practical experience.

Certified ethical hacking is a training course made for network and system administrators. Unlike other security courses, it introduces the trainee to various security concepts from the attacker's perspective, believing that the best way to defend your network and resources against an attacker is to know how she or he works.

The course consists of 20 modules which cover a wide range of essential topics including - but not limited to - gathering information on targets, system hacking and exploitation, network attacks, web based attacks and web server security. At the end of each module, the student is introduced to the countermeasures that should be used to defend against each technique.
