(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Kuwaiti government Monday congratulated Prince Mohammad bin Nayef and Prince Mohammad bin Salman, of Saudi Arabia, who were named by King Salman bin Abdulaziz as Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince respectively.
King Salman has recently named Prince Mohammad bin Nayef as Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister in addition to his Interior Ministry portfolio, as well as Prince Mohammad bin Salman as Deputy Crown Prince and Second Deputy Prime Minister in addition to his Defense Ministry portfolio.
The cabinet, in its weekly meeting chaired by His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, said it was confident the Saudi leadership "will continue its wise approach and exercising its positive and vital role at regional, Arab, Islamic and international levels," a statement by the cabinet said.
The cabinet members wished Prince Mohammad bin Nayef and Prince Mohammad bin Salman best of luck in their new tasks.
