Panel to develop Qur'an memorization centers

(MENAFN- Gulf Times) HE the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Dr Ghaith bin Mubarak al-Kuwari has issued an administrative decision setting up an executive committee for the development of the Holy Qur'an memorisation centres.

According to the decision, a joint executive committee between the departments of Mosques and Da'wa and Religious Guidance is to be formed to implement recommendations for the development of the Holy Qur'an memorisation centres.

The committee comprises Mohamed Ya'qoup al-Ali (Chairman), Hamad Abdullah al-Mahanna (Vice-Chairman), Saad Sultan al-Badr (Member), Mal Allah Abdurrahman al-Jaber (Member), Youssuf Ahmed Asheer (Member), Khalid Walid al-Hammadi (Member) and al-Nu'man Imran Abdul Hameed (Rapporteur).
