U.S. Comcast posts USD17.9b revenue in Q1


(MENAFN) Comcast Corp, the largest broadcasting and Cable Company in the world by revenue, recorded a revenue of USD17.9 billion for the first quarter of the year, marking a 2.6 percent increase, Reuters reported.

Additionally, the company posted a net profit of USD2.1 billion, marking a 10 percent increase motivated by a solid growth in its high-speed internet and business services in a way that surpassed expectations.

Comcast is considered the largest cable company and home Internet service provider in the United States, and the nation's third largest home telephone service provider.
