(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Rate of the US dollar stabilized vis a vis the Kuwaiti dinar, trading at KD 0.301 and the euro rose to KD 0.337, on Sunday, in contrast to Thursday's rates.
Central Bank of Kuwait said the sterling pound dropped to KD 0.456, the Swiss franc climbed to KD 0.323, while the Japanese yen remained stable, trading at KD 0.002.
The European currency has been bullish since weeks ago, in shadow of the greenback's decline, along with upbeat economic reports by authoritative European establishments, thus resulting in comeback to the euro and making up for losses it had incurred against the dollar since start of the year.
Moreover, the euro's rally is also, partially, attributed to disclosure of US economic data for the year Q1 - less upbeat than forecast.
