Kuwait's VIVA records USD34.2m profits in Q1


(MENAFN) Kuwait Telecommunications Company (VIVA) recorded USD34.1 million profits in the first quarter 2015, soaring from USD5.7 million registered in the corresponding period a year ago, Kuwait News Agency reported.

Equities off shareholders accumulated USD200.2 million in the first quarter, compared to USD59.7 million recorded in the same period of 2014, according to corporate statements issued by VIVA.

Other quarterly figures, reported by the company, are total assets of USD771.7 million and total liabilities of USD571.18 million.
