US- National Guard leaving Baltimore: Maryland governor


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Thousands of National Guard troops who were drafted into Baltimore following widespread riots began to leave the city on Sunday, the Maryland governor said.

"We've already started withdrawal of the Guard," Governor Larry Hogan said at a brief news conference. "The trucks are pulling out this morning. It's going to take a little bit of a while."
