Sheikha Al Mayassa visits Qatar's pavilion
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Qatar Museums chairperson HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad al-Thani yesterday paid a visit to Qatar's pavilion at Expo Milan 2015. She was briefed on key aspects of Qatar's participation in the expo, especially in food security and sustainability.
She also visited a number of pavilions of other participating countries.
The Italian contemporary art foundation, Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, presented the StellaRe award for 2015 to Sheikha Al Mayassa in Turin on Saturday, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to culture and society.
