Oman Cables chairman retires


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The chairman of Oman Cables Industry and one of its founders Mustafa al Lawati has retired after serving more than 30 years on the company's board. 

Fabio Romeo who has been on the board since 2012 will replace Lawati.

A special farewell dinner was arranged which was attended by H E Abdullah al Salmi executive president of CMA other dignitaries colleagues employees and friends of Lawati.

Speaking at the event the former chairman said 'Results can only be achieved by working hard planning thoroughly and thinking through everything meticulously.'

Lawati established various companies and enterprises and is viewed as a pioneer of business in Oman. He has created opportunities for many Omanis to develop in different careers and also supported many businesses in Oman through his entrepreneurial vision a press release said.
