(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) More than 80 foreigners are reported missing in
Nepal after last week's 7.8-magnitude earthquake, a government
official said Sunday, according to dpa.
'According to our records, 82 foreigners from different countries are
confirmed missing,' Interior Ministry spokesman Laxmi Dhakal said.
In Kenjing Valley, site of the famous Langtang trekking route north
of Kathmandu, a rescue operation found dead bodies of 48 people,
including at least three foreigners buried under a landslide, police
officer Prabin Pokharel said.
More than 200 people, about half of them foreigners, are still
believed to be buried there, he said.
