GCC FMs wrap up Riyadh preparatory meeting
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) foreign ministers concluded their meeting in Riyadh on Thursday.
The outcome of the preparatory meeting, presided over by Qatar's Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Attiyah, will be submitted to the GCC 15th consultative summit due in the Saudi capital on 5 May.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah led the Kuwaiti delegation to the ministerial gathering that discussed crystalizing a unified GCC stance toward regional and international issues, especially in Yemen, Syria and Palestine.
The GCC Ministerial Council also addressed topics related to the bloc's march and other issues of common concern.
A final statement is expected to shed more light on details of the topics the GCC chief diplomats discussed as well as recommendations. (pick up previous) yms.msa
