(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Lower House Speaker Atif Tarawneh scheduled a press conference next Sunday at 12:30 pm to speak about the House's achievements and its legislative and overseeing role.
Tarawneh will highlight the most important achievements of the 17th Lower House during its second ordinary session, which were devoted to the reforms carried out by Jordan under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II in various fields.
The meeting will discuss legislation that the chamber aspired to achieve in the next session, which would allow participation of all citizens in the decision-making process.
The second ordinary session of the Lower House began on November 2, 2014, and will extend up to May 2, 2016.
