(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) His Majesty King Abdullah II, during his visit to San Francisco, held meetings with US businessmen and heads of major companies.
During the meetings, the two sides reviewed various aspects of cooperation with Jordan, especially in economic and investment fields, and ways to take advantage of opportunities and incentives that the Jordanian economy has to offer to investors.
King Abdullah was briefed on the advanced American experience in several areas, especially in energy, education, medicine and information technology sectors, among others.
In turn, US businessmen and heads of major companies expressed their interest in enhancing cooperation with Jordan, supporting key sectors in the Kingdom and transferring the American experience to Jordan. They also praised Jordan's safe and attractive investment environment in the region, and His Majesty the King's efforts to achieve economic development and provide value-added jobs.
They pointed out that their meetings with the King gave them the opportunity to look closely at Jordan's experience in several areas, especially energy, education, medicine, information technology as well as the competitive features of the Jordanian economy, and the possibilities of a future investment and business partnerships with Jordanian companies.
