(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The 10th session of the OIC Standing Committee for Information and Cultural Affairs (COMIAC) themed €ÅRole of the Youth and Media for Peace and Stability in the Muslim World€€Œ began in the Senegalese capital, Dakar, on Tuesday.
Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Iyad Ameen Madani, said in his speech at the opening of the COMIAC that the Islamic world suffers from the increasing phenomenon of Islamophobia, the concentration of foreign media on violence in the Muslim world and organizations such the ISIS, Boko Haram and al-Qaeda.
The Secretary General stressed that COMIAC can face these threats.
