(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a cable of congratulations to President Omar Hassan Ahmed al-Bashir of the Republic of Sudan, on the occasion of his re-election for a new presidential term.
He expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President al-Bashir, wishing the Sudanese people every possible success, stressing his keenness on developing bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields for the welfare and interests of their brotherly peoples.
Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, has also sent a similar cable to President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, in a similar cable, congratulated President al-Bashir on winning the presidential election.
