(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 19: In a busy season of events and activities Porsche Club of Kuwait has set up a special exhibition for small entrepreneurs from 22 to 25 April 2015 in Loulua Hall at the Safir Hotel overlooking the Arabian Gulf Street. It presents an ultimate opportunity for Kuwaiti youth to display their products and talents within a specialized exhibition and a means to also exhibit their Porsche cars and other miscellaneous projects.
Engineer Zakaria Dashti club president said 'The idea of doing the show came after we saw the need for such an exhibition which highlights the potential of the Kuwaiti youth and their creations and achievements in all fields particularly in the automotive and especially Porsche in particular. He said that the high demand in the registration of the exhibition of small entrepreneurs from all disciplines further encouraged organizers to go ahead with the exhibition. He thanked all the sponsors and supporters of the club in all its activities through the distinctive season hosted by the club in the year since the launch of the season in a great gathering attended by members of the Porsche Club of Kuwait and club management in the maritime area which gathered more than 60 Porsche car club members. This was followed by a special event for the pool of registered members in the circuit of the Historical Vintage & Classic cars museum to receive membership cards and registration of coming events. At the invitation of Porsche Centre Kuwait Behbehani Motors Company and members of the club participated in the launch of a new model of the Porsche Cayenne which was held in Al-Raya Hall in the presence of His Excellency the German Ambassador in Kuwait and representatives of the Porsche company and senior management of the Behbehani Motors company and many of the Porsche customers in Kuwait including members of the Porsche Club Kuwait. And also under the auspices of the Historical Vintage & Classic Cars Museum and the Porsche Center Kuwait the Pirelli Tire Company held a number of events that have had success the large one being a special day at the Bahrain International Circuit the club won the competition for the most beautiful Porsche within Kuwait -SUV 2015. The Club also organized a private club march to celebrate national holidays of our beloved Kuwait and concluded the bid for participating cars in front of the Kuwait Towers. From the beginning of the season many people were attracted to the show mostly members of the Porsche Club. More than 60 Porsche cars are driven by members of the club. Many club members attend meetings exhibiting classic Porsche cars receiving membership and becoming part of the Porsche Club fraternity. Porsche Center also registered Heritage Porsche members specializing in heritage Porsche cars. Members listened to Mr. Pascal Hayek Manager of Porsche Center who spoke about the unique services offered by the center. In his speech listeners were more acquainted to the previous Porsche models and the funny stories related to these models. In the course of the year there was also a competition for the most beautiful Porsche cars in Kuwait at the Concours d'Elegance as well as an exhibition show for participating Porsche cars at the Kuwait Towers. It is also worthy of knowledge that the club in the course of the year sponsored the International Women's Conference in Kuwait in collaboration with UNESCO under the auspices of the United Nations. The club is now preparing to host the summer conference for Porsche Cars Photographic Competition. There will also be a visit to the Porsche car factory and museum in Stuttgart Germany. There will also be a visit to a show on driving cars on ice in Austria as well as a visit to the Porsche Test Center and European travels on Porsche cars. This will be a good chance for visitors to exchange information and experience on Porsche cars. There will also be a party in commemoration of the club's foundation on the International Children's Day. It is worthy of note that Porsche cars Club in Kuwait was established on November 18 2003. The Porsche Club organization is one of the largest automotive communities in the world; 620 official Clubs and approximately 180000 members in over 68 countries.
