Nursing society holds conference involving foreign consultants


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) A conference, themed "power of change for generations' health," organized by Kuwait Nursing Association (KNA), got underway here on Sunday, with participation of consultants and experts from several countries.

Dr. Jamal Al-Harbi, the Ministry of Health assistant undersecretary, said in an opening statement that this convention constituted an addition to the enormous scientific efforts for updating the health sector and following up on the approach for promoting health education and elevating quality of the health services.

Kuwait has sought aid and consultation from top-level international experts for promotion of the sector.

He assured the medical and nursing staff that the MoH "would spare no effort to create a comfortable work atmosphere to secure best service for patients and those in need for medical care." Bandar Al-Enezi, the society chairman, said the conference was the second to be held at this level, noting keenness on encouraging the youth to work in the nursing domain.

The conference groups consultants from Canada, the UK, Egypt, Jordan, GCC states including Kuwait.
