Al Khor stretch to be fenced
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A 1.5m high iron fence covered with a sheet will be temporary installed throughout the stretch of Al Khor and Al-Zakhira road to protect it from sand blown in by wind, local daily Arrayah reported yesterday.
In response to the concerns raised by the Central Municipal Council in this regard, Brigadier Mohamed Abdulla al-Shahwani, director of Al Shammal Security Department, revealed that a committee comprising different entities to find a permanent solution to the problem has decided to plant a green belt of trees beside the road.
