(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Bulgaria's ambassador to Katara, Metin Kazak, visited Katara - the Cultural Village and met with Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, Katara general manager.
During the meeting, they discussed joint cultural co-operation. The Bulgaria ambassador presented a proposal to organise an art exhibition at Katara to highlight different aspects of Bulgarian culture.
Dr al-Sulaiti welcomed the proposal, saying that Katara seeks to feature cultures of other countries in order to diversify the activities offered to the public.
He highlighted Katara's endeavours to support the cultural activities and host talents in various fields of art, creativity and thought.
The Algerian ambassador to Qatar, Abdulaziz Saba, also visited Katara and met with the Katara general manager.
The official briefed him on Katara's objectives and roles in supporting cultural work, as well as on events and activities and exhibitions and festivals hosted by Katara such as the African Festival.
