(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 26: The parliamentary Health Affairs Committee intends to hold an extensive meeting with Health Minister Dr Ali Al-Obeidi to discuss the steps his ministry has taken in preventing swine flu outbreak in the country reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources explained this came after the publication of reports on the rising number of swine flu cases.
Sources disclosed the committee had earlier called on the experts in the ministries of Health and Interior to specify the roles of both institutions in fighting the virus and following up the steps taken in this regard. Sources said the committee is currently preparing its report on the precautionary measures recommendations and procedures at the borders and airport to prevent anyone infected with the virus from entering Kuwait
