(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 26: The Mosques Administration of the Jahra Governorate is trying to cover up the contractors of various projects who have failed to respect the terms and conditions of the contract according to reliable sources. The same sources say these contractors who have violated the terms of the contract have to pay the State more than half-a-million dinars and instead of helping recover the money this administration is helped the violators.

The sources say several documents prove the involvement of the administration in financial and administrative irregularities which directly affect the State Treasury. The Mosques Sector of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs cannot find reasonable justifications to reports and observations made by the Audit Bureau about two companies which have delayed work for 500 days in 33 work orders.

Meanwhile Director of Juvenile Welfare Administration at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Hamad Al-Khaldi said there is a tendency to establish an electronic link with various authorities which are dealing with the administration to make it easier for the parents to follow judicial and behavioral patterns of their children. Al-Khaldi said most of the charges against juveniles are related to theft fights and other behavioral issues. He added some of these juveniles may be victims of abnormal behavior which has resulted from negligence by the family from the financial point of view and it is one of the reasons why they resort to theft. He called on the families to follow up and pay more attention to their children.
