UAE, Slovakia sign MoU to solidify economic relations


(MENAFN) The United Arab Emirates Minister of Economy and the Slovakian Deputy Prime Minister signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cofound a UAE-Slovakian Joint Economic Committee (JEC), Saudi Gazette reported.

The newly established committee will consist of legislatures from the government and business groups from the two countries, with an aim of coming up with new means to further develop, facilitate and strengthen the two-way economic and business collaboration.

The deal entails that the committee will starting holding meetings and discussions next year in order to move towards that aim, with a special care taken for particular sectors like finance, banking, tourism, agriculture, transport and industry.
