Google revenue surge to USD17.3b in Q1

(MENAFN) Google reported first-quarter earnings increase of 4 percent to USD3.6 billion as the company's Internet-leading advertising network lifted revenue by 14 percent to USD17.3 billion, Arab News reported.

The figure marked the sixth straight quarter that Google has registered earnings below the analysts' targets. However, investors were encouraged by a healthy gain in the number of people looking at Google's ads

"Google is being attacked on many fronts at the same time that they are, maybe, trying to operate on too many fronts," CEO of digital marketing service IgnitionOne said.
