Kuwait's bourse witnesses gains

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Stock Exchange's (KSE) indices collectively posted gains for the second consecutive week, buoyed by a purchasing trend by traders in both blue-chips and small chips, according to a report released by Bayan Investment Company on Saturday, summing up the bourse conditions over the past week.

Speculations anew have cast shadows over the past week sessions due to limited profits. Moreover, the sessions were marked with purchasing trends leading to continuing growth of liquidity as a result of optimism attributed to amendments to the Capital Market Authority's law.

The general upbeat atmosphere also coincided with positive financial revelations by the listed companies, and that in turn led to hiking the market capital by more than KD 516 million in only 11 sessions - settling at nearly KD 28 billion.

(USD is currently traded at approximately KD 0.301)
