(MENAFN- Gulf Times) Microsoft Qatar has announced that it will host the fourth Imagine Cup Qatar Finals at 5pm tomorrow at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl - Doha.
The Imagine Cup National Finals, held under the patronage of HE the Minister of Information and Communications Technology Dr Hessa Sultan al-Jaber, will see the participation of teams representing Qatar University, Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, Texas A&M University at Qatar and Manchester University.
Microsoft Qatar's partner, leading information technology systems integrator ICT WLL, has been named as this year's sole sponsor.
Microsoft Qatar general manager Naim Yazbeck said: "Microsoft Qatar is pleased to organise the fourth edition of the Imagine Cup National Finals in Qatar. Imagine Cup provides a platform that allows our company to engage and interact with students throughout the year around technology and innovation.

The participating teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges, which will include industry experts from Microsoft, QCRI, Mada, QBIC, WISE and ICT WLL.
The winning teams from the categories of innovation, citizenship and gaming will represent Qatar during the Pan-Arab Semi-Finals, which will take place in Bahrain from May 31.
ICT WLL is a Qatari private company and a subsidiary of the Midis Group, which operates in more than 30 countries in the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
