(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 23: The Porsche Club of Kuwait exhibition 2015 kicked off Wednesday with the attendance of Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khalid Al-Jarah Al-Sabah Head of Circuits Racing and Speed Committee at the Sheikh Basil Al-Salem Al-Sabah Motorsport Club along with Engineer Zakaria Dashti Porsche President and other dignitaries.
The expo being held at Pearl Ballroom Safir Hotel on the Arabian Gulf Street apart from the main event being Porsche also involves Motorbikes Child driver learning area and a lot more. It opened to the public Thursday April 23 to Saturday April 25 10 am to 10 pm each day. It offers a unique opportunity for Kuwaiti youth to showcase their achievements and products in a very classy and elegant fashion that targets automotive businesses as well as other areas. Engineer Zakaria Dashti club president said 'Doing the show came to mind after we saw the need for such an exhibition which highlights the potential of the Kuwaiti youth and their creations and achievements in all fields particularly in the automotive and especially Porsche in particular. He said that the high demand in the registration of the exhibition of small entrepreneurs from all disciplines further encouraged organizers to go ahead with the exhibition. He thanked all the sponsors and supporters of the club in all its activities through the distinctive season hosted by the club in the year since the launch of the season in a great gathering attended by members of the Porsche Club of Kuwait and club management in the maritime area which gathered more than 60 Porsche car club members. Dashti added that Porsche Club Kuwait membership has a unique advantage in that it enables members to meet each other and exchange information and experiences and stories together and to participate at interesting events and activities both locally and internationally. 'This year we included in the season opening IT-Session celebrating the Club's Anniversary Children's International Day with UN Cayenne Camp Bahrain International Circuit Track Day Autocross Challenge participating at the Kuwait Concours d'Elegace and Kuwait National Parade' he added.
