Liquor factory in bachelors accommodation


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 23: Capital securitymen raided an illegal liquor factory inside a bachelors accommodation in Sulaibikhat area where they confiscated 1000 bottles of locally brewed liquor and 100 gallons of liquor and arrested 16 Asian suspects. According to security sources Capital securitymen carried out the operation under the guidance and instructions of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs at Ministry of Interior Major General Abdul Fattah Al-Ali and Capital Security Director Major General Ibrahim Al-Tarrah. They arrested 16 Asian expatriates who were in the vicinity as they did not have any official identification documents. The suspects were referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for investigations

Kuwaiti nabbed with drugs: The Jahra police have arrested a 38- year-old Kuwaiti for possessing and consuming drugs reports Al- Anba daily. At the time of arrest he was driving a car without number plate. Police have reportedly seized from his car drugs and drug consuming tools. Meanwhile police are looking for an unidentified burglar who broke into the car of a Kuwaiti woman which was parked in Salmiya and escaped with her cell phone and KD 150 cash reports Al-Rai daily. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprit. 'And' A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint with the police accusing her sister-in-law of insulting her in the home of her mother-in-law reports Al-Anba daily.
