Cold weather forecast over weekend in Jordan


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) A Slight drop in temperatures is expected on Thursday, therefore the weather will be relatively cold and partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers at times in the central and northern parts of the Kingdom. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly brisk raising dust in the desert areas.

According to Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD), a slight rise in temperatures is forecast on Friday and Saturday, but the weather remains relatively cold in the hilly areas, warm in the Jordan Valley and mild in other parts of the country. Winds will be northwesterly moderate to brisk.

Temperatures expected in Amman for today will range between a high of 15 degrees Celsius and a low of 6 degrees at night.
