(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The 8th conference of Kuwait's heads of missions (COMs) abroad resumed its sessions on Wednesday with a lecture focusing on horizons of investments inside and outside the country.
Today's session was opened by Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry Khalid Suleiman Al-Jarallah.
Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) Managing Director Bader Al-Saad and Kuwait Direct Investment Promotion Authority Director General Sheikh Mishal Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah addressed the session on how to attract foreign investments in Kuwait.
They reviewed means of luring foreign investors to the country as well as its plans, policies and legislations aiming to create an attractive investment atmosphere.
The aim of this conference is to meet the aspirations of diversifying and boosting the country's income as well as upgrading its economy in general.
They two speakers listened to proposals and observations of the heads of missions (COMs) abroad, and coordination between theses missions and the country's investment authorities.
The conference was opened on Tuesday at Bayan Palace under the auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
