(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Ministry of Municipality and Urban Planning has recorded violations against several real estate projects under construction due to non-compliance with engineering designs and specifications approved by the authorities, local Arabic daily Arrayah has reported.
The violations detected by inspectors include making certain changes, increasing specified areas and building additional floors without the necessary approval, the daily said.
Sources said the inspectors have pasted stickers notifying the violations and issued notices to the parties concerned. Changes have been made in a number of real estate projects in terms of their approved area, design, number of floors, engineering specifications and color, and action will be taken in such cases, the report said.
