(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Israeli occupation authorities on Wednesday closed border crossings on the Gaza Strip for four days under the pretext of Jewish holidays.
The Director-General of the Palestinian Authority's general administration of border crossings, Nazmi Muhanna, said in a statement that the Karam Abu Salem commercial crossing was closed, and the entry of goods was banned, while the Beit Hanoun crossing was also closed, barring the movement of people into and out of the enclave.
Israeli authorities close crossing points every week on Friday and Saturday, he added.
Karam Abu Salem is the sole commercial crossing through which the Israeli authorities allow the entry of commodities into Gaza.
