Spain's exports hit USD21.37b in February
(MENAFN) According to data released by Spain's economic newspaper Expansion, the country's exports increased by 2.8 percent in February from a year earlier, Xinhua reported.
Exports reached USD21.37 billion in the month, while in the first two months of the year, export value hit USD40.47 billion, driven by an increase of 18.7 percent in the automobile sector exports.
In the first two months of 2015, Spanish exports shipped mostly to EU-countries increasing by 2.7 percent year-on-year, while those to the euro zone countries increased by 2.9 percent.
However, the country's imports increased marginally to USD45.43 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of USD4.96 billion in the period, up by 4.3 percent compared to a year earlier.
