(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 21: Zain the leading telecommunications company in Kuwait announced its sponsorship of the 42nd Arab Labor Conference hosted by the State of Kuwait from April 18-25 2015 under the patronage of HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah.
The opening ceremony witnessed the attendance of several prominent figures led by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah and Minister of Social Affairs and Labor and Minister of State of Planning and Development Hind Al Sabeeh as well as representatives from government organizations and experts in socio-economic development from across the Arab world. Zain pointed out that the Arab Labor Conference organized by the Arab Labor Organization is considered one of the most important events in the Arab world wherein it tackles a number of crucial issues facing the labor market like unemployment social dialogue in light of the current turbulences in the region in addition to the settlement of labor disputes and its role in the stability of labor relations. The conference works to provide adequate studies that contribute to the social and economic development across the entire region.
