UAE- One bedroom apartments witness most rent spikes


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The report shows a rental price range for a one-bedroom apartment in the capital from Dh30000 in Al Falah City up to Dh135000 in Al Bandar.

Abu Dhabi — One-bedroom apartments in Abu Dhabi island experienced the largest shifts in rents says dubizzle in its Q1 2015 property trends report. Data was compared between Q1 2014 and Q1 2015.

Rents for one-bedroom apartments in Abu Dhabi island moved from Dh62500 to Dh70000 since Q1 last year followed by Reem Island from Dh90000 to Dh95000 for the same period. Khalifa City A was the next in line with an increase from Dh45000 to Dh50000.

The report shows a rental price range for a one-bedroom apartment in the capital from Dh30000 in Al Falah City up to Dh135000 in Al Bandar.

The Abu Dhabi selling market too saw price increases. One bedroom apartments in Reem Island experienced the largest shifts in sales price from D1.24 million to Dh1.31 million since Q1 last year followed by Al Raha Beach from Dh1.49 million to Dh1.5 million for the same period. Al Reef was the next in line with an increase from Dh813000 to Dh863000.

As for the sales price range for 1BR apartments in the capital it starts from Dh710000 in Al Ghadeer up to Dh2.7 million in Saadiyat Island.

“Abu Dhabi has been a promising market for property. Cityscape Abu Dhabi is growing in number in terms of visitors and exhibitors which is a clear indication of the continuous growth of the market. We had over 8.9 million property ad pages viewed in Abu Dhabi.” says Ann Boothello property product marketing manager.
