The sons of Emmy winner Fyvush Finkel appearing in Central Florida.

Recently Emmy winning actor and Broadway star Fyvush Finkel celebrated his 61rst year in show business by performing an evening of comedy and music at the Friars club in New York City along with his sons Elliot and Ian.

That night was not the first time that the Finkels were all onstage together. The family all shared the stage in Finkels Follies and again in Second Avenue to Broadway two very popular shows that ran in New York.

Now Elliot a concert pianist and Ian who is known as the world’s greatest xylophonist will be bringing their shows to Central Florida along with four other headline acts as part of the Best At Sea road show.

They are also in Orlando to film the pilot for a television show called Best at Sea the hilarious story of five cruise ship entertainers who are hired to stage a talent competition at sea.

The Best at Sea Road Show will be at the historic Athens Theater in Deland Florida on June 27 at 7:30pm.  

Elliott Finkel is a graduate of Julliard and has performed in concert around the world with appearances at Carnegie Hall the London Palladium and the White House. During his career he has also been honored to act as conductor for the famed opera star Jan Peerce for nine years.

Ian Finkel is considered a virtuoso on the xylophone and has appeared in concert and with symphony orchestras throughout the U.S. and Great Britain. In addition to appearing on Broadway with Fyvush Finkel he has also appeared there with Michael Feinstein. A sought after arranger/composer Ian has collaborated with Philip Glass and has heard his works performed by numerous orchestras such as the American Symphony Orchestra and the Little Orchestra Society. He is also the author of three novels.

The Best at Sea Road Show will also feature appearances by standup comedians Tom Drake and David Sayh vocal impressionist Paul Tanner comedy impressionist/ventriloquist Michael Minor and jazz vocalist Sally Sayh. Music will be provided by the seven piece Best at Sea orchestra. This performance will be filmed for use in the pilot episode of Best at Sea. It is certain to be a very fun and exciting evening in Central Florida.
