Mohamed bin Zayed praises Obama's commitment on prevention of nuclear weapons proliferation


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces made the following statement after his meeting with the US President Barack Obama in Washington today: "I am grateful to the President for his personal leadership and sustained commitment to prevent the proliferation of nuclear weapons into the Arabian Gulf.

I am hopeful that a final agreement can be reached that addresses the vital concerns of the UAE, other Arabian Gulf nations and the global community.

The President and I also made important progress in today's meeting on new steps to enhance the already deep security partnership between the US and UAE.

I look forward to continuing these discussions with the President and other GCC leaders at next month's Camp David summit."
