(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Vice President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities and Supervisor of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Project for Care of Civilizational Heritage Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Ghabban said that the selection of Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk region and President of Tourism Development Council in the region as the Personality of the Year for Civilizational Heritage in the region by Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities came in recognition of his distinctive efforts in the service of civilizational and architectural heritage, archaeological sites and handicrafts in the region.
This came in a statement to Saudi Press Agency by Dr. Al-Ghabban who pointed out that the Prince has submitted, followed up, implemented, and supported a number of projects in the region including restoration of a well, buildings of the railway, and museums, as well as heritage sites.
