(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) France decorated two armed forces officers with the national orders with the rank of a commander in recognition of their education and leadership services in the Kuwaiti Army.
Army Major-General Khaled Al-Foderi and Vice Admiral Jassem Al-Ansari were decorated with the French national orders at a ceremony held by the French Embassy in Kuwait.
French Ambassador to Kuwait Christian Nakhle said in a statement the officials in Kuwait were interested in further cementing relations between the two countries, including cooperation between armed forces in France and Kuwait.
He said Al-Foderi and Al-Ansari worked closely with the French advisors in the humanitarian field.
Real Admiral Antoine Busan, Commander of the French Naval Forces in the Indian Ocean, commended the military cooperation between Paris and Kuwait namely in the joint exercises.
