Man jailed in liquor smuggling case
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) A Qatari court has sentenced a Gulf national to six months in jail and a fine of QR768,000 for attempting to smuggle huge quantities of liquor from Qatar and evading customs duties.
The court also decided to confiscate the vehicle used for smuggling. The accused was held by the authorities at the Abu Samra border post.
