Qatar helps evacuate Cambodians from Yemen


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Foreign Ministry yesterday announced that it had helped in evacuating 16 Cambodian subjects who had been stranded in Yemen due to the security situation there.

Qatar's ambassador to Yemen, Mohamed bin Hamad Al-Hajri, said the evacuation came at a request from the Cambodian government, noting that the ministry had evacuated the Cambodian nationals and secured their arrival in Phnom Penh aboard a Qatar Airways plane.

Othman Hassan, a senior aide to the Cambodian prime minister, expressed thanks to the Qatar government for help in evacuating the Cambodian subjects.
