(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Anti-Narcotics Department (AND) agents seized 5 million pills that were concealed inside a vehicle, the Public Security Department (PSD) reported on Sunday.
It said anti-drug officers had kept under surveillance a vehicle that was parked between Jordan and a neighboring country's border.
After examining the car to be sure it was free of "dangerous materials", a search of the car yielded an estimated 5 million narcotics pills, in addition to two machine guns.
An investigation has begun to identify those involved in the attempt to smuggle such a large quantity of drugs.
