Indonesian Commercial Consul Visits Makkah Chamber


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Commercial Consul of the Consulate of Indonesia in Jeddah Mohammed Marouf has revealed that the economic relations between his country and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are witnessing a remarkable development.

He added that, the volume of trade exchange between the two countries is increasing significantly, especially as the balance of trade between the two countries jumped from $ 6.7 billion in 2013 to $ 8 billion in 2014, while the volume of oil imports totaled $ 5.2 billion last year, and non-oil imports of $ 2.8 billion in the same year.

This came during the Indonesian Consul's meeting today with the Chairman of Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Maher bin Saleh Jamal, and a number of members of its Board of Directors.
