(MENAFN- Arab Times) As part of its comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy, Burgan Bank announced its year-long sponsorship of the Ministry of Health's 'Capital School Oral Health Program'. The announcement was made during the program's opening ceremony held at Marina Hotel on April 16, 2015. The ceremony was held under the patronage of HE Dr Ali Al-Obaide, Minister of Health, and coincided with the sixth GCC Oral Health Unified Week. The event was attended by several GCC's Ambassadors and a number of Ministry of Health officials.
Through this year-round partnership, the bank will extend its full support to work alongside the Ministry of Health in spreading awareness of maintaining a healthy dental lifestyle amongst school students. This will be implemented through a series of school visits, activation and awareness programs in clinics, hospitals, and malls in efforts of enriching the entire community's dental health knowledge.
The Capital School Oral Health Program is a comprehensive school-based/linked program providing Oral health Education, Prevention and Treatment to almost 270,000 Kuwaiti school children.
Such community interactions further reinforces Burgan Bank's leadership and social dedication to the wellbeing of the society. The bank has pledged to support initiatives that work on familiarizing the public with the benefits of maintaining a healthier lifestyle in an interactive and informative manner in collaboration with governmental and recognized entities.
