33 dead in Afghan blasts claimed by Daesh


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) At least 33 people were killed and more than 100 injured on Saturday in three explosions in the eastern Afghan city of Jalalabad that were claimed by the Daesh militant group, security sources said.

Eyewitnesses said two blasts went off outside a local bank, where government workers had gathered to collect their salaries, causing the casualties.

Two people were also wounded in a car bomb explosion, which was triggered by an explosive device attached to a bicycle near the bank.
