Iran says it desires to help cease military action in Yemen


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Iran declared its readiness to offer help for ceasing military operations in Yemen and begin dialogue among all parties of the nation, it was officially reported on Saturday Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, in a telephone contact with his Omani counterpart, said Tehran is ready to offer any kind of aid to halt the military action and launch the dialogue among all the parties, in line with a conciliation plan it had submitted to the United Nations.

Zarif described conditions in the Gulf region as sensitive, noting necessity to secure relief aid to the Yemenis in need for assistance.

Iran has submitted a plan to the UN calling for a cease-fire, dispatching relief aid to the Yemeni people and resuming national dialogue.
